Some Stuff About Me
I'm Laura Bielaczyc — a character voice actress based in Nashville, TN, and I am absolutely in love with what I do.
I am a creator, a go-getter, and an admirer of nature! I love acting, and I've been acting since 2013 studying in scene study classes, making short films with friends, directing, writing, editing, producing — wearing every hat I could find. That background gives my voice acting a depth that comes from years of real, committed performance work. One of the short films I co-created won Best Film at the Nashville 54-Hour Film Festival, and that creative hunger has never left me. Anyhow, this has been my life, along with my husband, Michael Bielaczyc, and our sweet cats.
In the fall of 2023, I started playing Baldur's Gate 3, and something clicked in a way nothing ever had before. Listening to those voice performances — the nuance, the range, the way every character felt completely alive — I knew immediately that character voice acting was what I was built for. I threw myself in completely. I know now that this is what I'm supposed to be doing, and when you have a feeling like that, you have to go for it!
I basically dropped everything and started focusing on voice acting. I have a wide range of characters I've created, and I feel like I could do just about anything with my voice. I also have a year of consistent stunt work practice, and I hope to possibly use it in the future for some motion capture! I love to collaborate! I've made many short films with my peers, and I've worn many hats while creating them. I've directed, written, edited, produced, and done all the camera work. No Zombies is one of the films I created, with just two other friends, that won best film for a Nashville 54hour film Festival!
Since then, I've built a professional home studio from the ground up in my custom-treated cement basement in Nashville. My setup includes a Neumann TLM 103 microphone, a Rode NT1 5th Gen, a Universal Audio Apollo Twin X interface, and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (4th gen), all running into a MacBook Pro where I edit in Adobe Audition. The room is treated with rock wool panels and sound-absorbing materials — it is broadcast quality and ready to work.
I specialize in character voice acting for video games, animation, commercials, creatures, and any project that
needs a voice with real personality and range. I can go from warm and conversational to menacing and guttural, from quirky fantasy NPCs to polished commercial narration. I've also completed a year of consistent stunt training, which I hope to bring into motion capture work down the line.
I offer live directed sessions via Source-Connect, Zoom, Google Meet, or any platform you prefer. I'm non-union and available for indie games, AAA productions, animated series, ad agencies, and independent creators worldwide. I charge based on GVAA rate guides.
